胡作人

胡作人，祖籍福建省泉州市。曾就读中国美术学院附中及广州美术学院附中，现任美术学院(香港)校友会理事、香港福建书画研究会理事、福建美术家协会会员、泉州鲤城区美术家协会顾问。父亲胡迈是新加坡华侨，1935年学成回国，创立泉州首家画室《相如画室》，以绘肖像为主，从小在这种艺术环境的薰陶下，五岁就对绘画产生了浓厚的兴趣，并在父亲的指导之下开始涂红抺绿。
1956年有六幅水彩作品被国家选送德国和印度参展。
1961年《山歌越唱越开心》年画由上海人民美术出版社出版。
上世纪60-70年代初先後在福建出版的作品有年画《除害灭病、人寿年丰》、年画《歌颂张高谦》、年画《引来甘泉夺丰收》。
1963年为福建人民出版社年画创作组成员。
1978年定居香港，先在香港《九华堂》复制中国古代名画，継而从事油画肖像工作，之後开设《相如油画公司》，定单远销欧美各国。
1995年参加香港美术恊会会员展。
1996年“96中国绘画精品愽览会”作品受到中外观众青睐，油画《蝉衣玉女》为香港银行家廖烈武先生收藏。
1997年油画《紫荆报春归》为香港中银集圑收藏。
1997年油画《鹦歌鲤与椰菜》入选“第二届中国静物油画展”。
1997年香港庆回归美术作品展。
1999年油画《福建土楼》入选“第九届全国美展”并为深圳荣寳斋有限公司收藏。
1999年油画《喜泼吉祥水》参展“第九届全国美展”获优秀奖。现为香港香江国际有限公司收藏。
1999年香港健康快车慈善展。
1999年油画《赌王何鸿燊肖像》为何先生私人收藏。
2000年油画《施子清太平绅士肖像》为施先生收藏。
2000年油画香港知名人士《林贝聿嘉女士肖像》为她私人收藏。

2011年决定全退休，开始投入以闽南地区风土民俗为提材的一糸列油画创作。
