吴礼泉

吴礼泉：1935年出生，原籍海南琼山市府城，海南乡土美术的开拓者.1935年4月出生于海口市。1950年起从事美术工作。作品《胡椒园》被首都博物馆收藏。出版《吴礼泉油画集》、《画心常绿》——从艺45周年专辑。

作者长期从事美术教育和社会美术活功、培养了大批卓有成就的美术人才。1986年创办中国书画函授大学海口分校，该校被誉为海南艺术的摇篮。自1985年以来，连任三届海口市美协主席，为发展海南的美术事业做出卓越的贡献。主要事迹被收入《中国当代书画家大辞典》《世界当代书画名家大辞典》。
