侯德昌

侯德昌美术作品

中国美术家协会会员，河南辉县市孟庄镇南田庄人，1934年1月30日生。自幼酷爱书画，1956年考入原中央工艺美术学院，主攻陶瓷美术设计专业，1961年毕业并留校任教陶瓷美术设计专业，70年代后期任教国画山水课。1998年9月8日被聘任为中央文史研究馆馆员。
1992年，为我国申办奥运会，他主笔创作了百米长卷《中华魂》，生动形象地再现了祖国山河的壮美；1994年国庆前夕，他为人民大会堂东大厅主笔绘制巨幅大型山水画《幽燕金秋图》，受到党和国家领导人的称赞。1995年和1997年，他为中南海创作《山永寿松长青》和几幅山水画；1999年，他为中央军委八一大楼创作巨幅山水画《长城雄关图》等。

侯德昌对刻字艺术的研究造诣也很深，1989年《侯德昌刻字书法选》出版发行。1992年《篆书艺术》出版后，得到了张仃、黄苗子、许麟庐等老一代书画家的高度评价。2002年，历时近二十年、用尽心力完成《篆艺通典》并出版，2003年出版《人生宝典》（合著），2004年出版《侯德昌书画》，2005年出版《侯德昌隶书古诗》，2006年出版《侯德昌草篆》。
