吴步乃

吴步乃(1929.1—)别名步乃、吴陟，湖北武汉人。上海全国木协木刻函授班学员、“漫画工学团”成员。后在皖南游击队和军中作美工。1955年进北京《美术》月刊。曾任副主编、编审。作品有漫画《支持得住吗?》等；编著有《台湾美术简史》、《光复初期大陆到台画家》、《到台木刻家黄荣灿》等。
1947年1月在上海加入沈同衡先生主办的漫画工学团，配合当时反帝反蒋斗争。多幅作品参加漫画工学团所组织的2次地下“月展”。其中《支持得住吗?》收入《中国漫画史》(1986年10月，北京文化艺术出版社)，《谁夺去了我们的米》于1947年4月由上海《文汇报》发表。1949年3月参加中国人民解放军皖南游击队，作美术漫画宣传工作。后因担任其他工作而暂停作画。1979-1995年偶作漫画，有《代理战争》等作品在《人民日报》、《刺藜》、《北京日报》发表。撰写《墨西哥漫画家珂弗罗比士的作品》、《四幅漫画式油画》、《台湾的连环画、连环漫画和政治漫画》等文章发表在《美术》、《漫画选刊》、《连环画研究》和《台湾美术简史》、《美术家通讯》。
