钟增亚

又名钟亚。湖南衡阳人。擅国画。衡阳市文化馆。
1940年出生于湖南衡阳市，1966年毕业于广州美术学院中国画系，2002年9月因病逝世。他深得恩师关山月、黎雄才、杨之光的教诲，毕业从事中国书画艺术的创作与研究，始终以生活为源泉，在生活中不断探索，不断创新，使传统文化在现代观念的笔墨探索、融汇中不断创造出书画艺术的新境界。他的美术作品曾入选第四、六、七、八、九届全国美展，国画《楚人》入选中国画百年大展。在全国第七次文代会、第六次作代会联欢晚会上，他与刘大为、杨力舟等十位画家合作的大幅中国画《盛世春光图》，作为中国美术界的礼品赠送大会。他与全国八位画家一道创作的巨幅通景山水画《三峡史诗》，成为传世佳作载入美术史册。他的书法作品曾参加《全国名家书法精品展》、《中国书法家协会会员优秀作品展》等全国大型书展。出版有《钟增亚中国画选集》、《钟增亚速写集》。他曾任“中国画三百家”、“第四届全国山水画展”、“新世纪中国画大赛”、“第九届全国美展港台展”评委。曾任中国书法家协会理事、中国美术家协会理事、湖南省文联副主席、湖南省书协主席、湖南书画研究院院长，享受政府特殊津贴。他的艺术创作融人物、山水、花鸟画于一体，集书、画、诗、文于一身，以其卓越的艺术成就影响全国书画界，赢得了书画界的尊重。中国美术家协会在今年的工作会议上高度评价他在美术创作等领域取得了显著成就，为中国美术事业作出了杰出的贡献，中国美术史将记下他的业绩。《中国书法》杂志、《美术》杂志等全国权威性专业报刊作过专题报道。
于2002年9月19日在湖南长沙因病不幸逝世，享年67岁。
