薛晓喜，1963年生于山西万荣。1984年毕业于山西运城艺术学校，1996年结业于陕西国画院王有政工作室，2001年结业于中国美术家协会首期中国人物画高研班，2002年毕业于北京画院首届中国画高级创作班王明明工作室，同年结业于中国艺术研究院中国画高研班。现为中国美术家协会会员、一级美术师、北京·水墨行动组委会主任。2001年，《老哥俩》入选第十五次全国新人新作展；2002年，《山花》参加中国艺术研究院中国画邀请展，《喜庆的日子》、《暗香微度玉玲珑》入选全国迎奥运中国画大展，其中《暗香微度玉玲珑》获优秀奖；2003年，《枣林细语》入选2003年全国中国画作品展；2004年，《小鸽子》入选全国第二届中国人物画作品展；2006年12月，赴日本东京参加中国画名家邀请展。出版有《薛晓喜中国画小品》、《艺术翰墨———薛晓喜》、《国画家薛晓喜》。
