余龙

余龙山水画

四川乐山人，自幼喜好中国画。1975年高中毕业后，由启蒙老师熊世森介绍到乐山乌龙寺做临时工，与当代中国十大高僧之一的遍能和尚朝夕相处达四年之久。在与遍能和尚同案书画的岁月中，受到与人为善、平和处世思想的影响，奠定了谦逊随和的性格特征，感悟到了“平常心即佛心”的境界。
1979年调往乐山大佛寺工作。1980年嘉州画院成立，作为画院画家并兼管文物商店和文管局的接待工作，先后接待过何海霞、关山月、崔子范、吴冠中、程十发、周思聪、黄胄、王子武、董欣宾等全国著名画家。观摹前辈们作画，学到很多知识，自己的作品也得到了前辈们的热情指点。工作之余读书写字，常求教于乐山前辈遍能、李琼久、杨风等著名书法家。1992年赴南京江苏省国画院拜董欣宾为师进修中国画理论。
余龙出生在峨嵋山下的龙池镇，成长于大渡河、岷江、青衣江三江汇流处的嘉州古城，是大山大水养育了他，表现大山大水始终是余龙山水画的主题。为壮胸中浩然之气，他的足迹遍及中原、江南、东北、云贵、青藏、新疆、敦煌等地。三十多年的勤奋学习，余龙的山水画已形成了以书法笔意的长线为手段的风格特征，并受到美术界的广泛关注。
1987年，其作品由河南美术出版社编入《现代山水画库》大型画册，1989年由四川省美协主办在成都举办个人画展，1993年应邀赴北京天安门城楼、毛主席纪念堂、中国军事博物馆、京西宾馆、人民日报社等单位作画。所作山水画《乐山大佛》，由乐山市委、市政府赠送给先后来乐山视察的江泽民、杨尚昆、李岚清、吴仪等中央领导。2005年6月14日所作的《乐山大佛》由乐山市委、市政府赠送给前来乐山礼佛的第十一式班禅额尔德尼?确吉杰布。义务创作的山水画长卷《乐山乐水》由国家邮政局发行连体式邮资明信片，为乐山乐市社会治安综合治理委员会募集100万元见义勇为基金做出了重要贡献。近年在国内发表作品和介绍文章的报刊有：中国青年报、人民政协报、工人日报、农民日报、金融时报、华声报、迟市场报、四川日报、四川画展、香港文汇报、读书人报、中国书画报、美术画、中国画清赏、东方美术、江苏画刊等。2001年《美术》第三期发表山水画作品15幅。
2005年10月随刘大为带队的《中国画?画中国--走进香港》的美术采风团到香港写生，所作作品在香港和中国美术馆展出。
2006年9月，应英国BBC广播电台莱斯特分台及莱斯特城市博物馆的邀请，在英国莱斯特城市博物馆举办个人画展，并在大英图书馆举办新闻发布会。

其作品五次入选全国美展：
1、1999年，“大渡河畔”获得由中国美协、中国诗书画研究院联合主办的《庆祝建国50周年暨迎接澳门回归全国诗人、书法家、画家作品大奖展览》成就奖。
2、?2002年，“凉山踏雪”获得由中国美协、四川省委宣传部主办的《中国西部大地情中国画大展》优秀奖。同年《美术》12期和《新华文摘》12期同时刊载“凉山踏雪”。
3、“大渡河岸”获得第二届中国西部大地情优秀奖。（2002年?广西）
4、“情满凉山”入选由中国美协和四川省委宣传部主办的《纪念邓小平诞辰100周年画展》
