吴银杉

吴银杉，湖南株洲人，1978年毕业于中央美术学院油画系，师从靳尚谊、詹建俊、闻立鹏、钟涵、杜建、赵友萍、苏高礼、钱绍武、王征华等老一辈的艺术家。同年分配至中央戏剧学院舞台美术系从事绘画基础教学。1984年重返中央美院，参加了第二届油画研修班学习，1986年考取中央戏剧学院舞美系绘画研究生，导师为著名油画家张重庆教授。吴银杉现为中央戏剧学院教授、硕士生导师、中国美术家协会员，中国油画学会会员，中国未来研究会油画院院士。
在中央美院五、六年的学习与艺术熏陶，在老艺术家们的教诲指导下，吴银杉打下了扎实的造型基础，掌握了油画的写实技巧，也坚定选择了现实主义的创作道路。
八十年代，吴银杉的创作多是西北题材，写生地区主要是山西、甘肃、宁夏等地，画了大量的素描、油画人物肖像、风景写生等。积累了对西北地区风土人情的生活体验，对黄土文化有较深的了解与感悟。从1988年起先后创作了《脊背》、《远方地平线》、《聊》等系列油画，表现了作者对华夏文明的历史思考与对民族精神的赞颂。
九十年代，吴银杉赴藏族地区写生、采风，对藏文化产生了浓厚的兴趣，多次深入甘南、青海、拉萨等地，考察了那里的宗教及民俗风情，创作了大幅油画《神曲》、《古塬之声》、《等待》、《经堂前的藏族妇女》等作品，具有一定的艺术与思想深度。近些年，吴银杉又在绘画材料及画布肌理方面作了有益的探索，采用在画布上拼贴报纸、布块、纸片等物品，追求材料的审美特征及视觉效果的丰富性。
吴银杉一直注重素描的研究，他把农村生活当作锤炼素描语言的课堂。从1981年起，每隔一，两年就要深入农村专门画素描（或下乡油画写生）。到2001年夏，赴山西五台县大营村待了两个多月，画了一大批素描人物写生，编辑出版了《吴银杉素描写生集》，获得了同行与专家的好评。吴银杉曾出席2003年第六届全国美术家代表大会、2003年第四届北京美术家代表大会、1997年第三届北京市美术家代表大会
吴银杉对绘画教学工作十分敬业。他长期担任素描基础教学工作，潜心研究素描理论和素描创作。他的研究生论文选题《结构意识与素描表现》获得好评，被中戏选入《硕士论文集》，论文《在生活中锤炼素描语言》刊登在中央美院院刊《美术研究》，《生活是素描艺术的沃土》发表在中国作协主办的《文艺报》上。
《舞台美术教学对话与报考指南》是吴银杉对绘画基础教学的全面总结，全书约六万字，其中95%以上的文字都是绘画教学的讲述，包括素描教学、色彩教学和创作教学。（该书实际不涉及舞美，“报考指南”是应出版社的要求而加）
由于绘画教学经验丰富，成绩突出，1995年、2000年、2002年、2003年、2007年先后五次获中央戏剧学院舞美系绘画教学基金奖。
吴银杉几十年来一直坚持现实主义创作道路，坚持深入生活、反映生活。主要表现题材为西北农村、农民，藏族地区、藏民及宗教生活。作品曾多次参加全国美展、北京美展、海外画展，并有多部作品获奖，受到观众和专家好评。

艺术成就
2013年参加纽约艺术博览会、世界华人艺术精品大展，作品《布达拉宫》获金奖，组委会颁发“杰出华人艺术家”荣誉称号。
2012年获国家文化部文化艺术人才中心颁发的“文化艺术领域卓越成就”荣誉证书。
2008年为支援汶川抗震救灾，捐献油画《祈祷的藏族妇女》，获中国美协颁发的荣誉证书。
