周一新

生于宁夏、祖籍浙江永康。1993年至1999年宁夏大学美术系担任国画、书法等教学工作，1999年至2000年宁夏大学美术系担任教学管理工作任系副主任，2000年至2002年中国美术学院中国画系攻读硕士学位获研究生同等学历，2002年至今宁夏大学美术系担任教育管理工作系副主任。
现为宁夏书画院院长、宁夏美术馆馆长、宁夏大学美术学院院长，中国美术家协会会员、宁夏美术家协会理事，宁夏青联委员，银川市文联委员，银川市美术家协会副主席。
作品多次参加全国美展，其中第十届全国美展获银奖作品《水浒忠义堂》、作者以家喻户晓的中国古典文学名著《水浒》为素材、采取了线描勾勒及浅淡渲染的手法、再现了水浒英雄一百零八将济济一堂的宏大场面、作者多年来潜心于中国传统绘画及历史题材的研究与创作、在这件作品中着力于对画中每个人物的外貌、性情、服饰道具等悉心描绘、深于刻画、力求生动自然、多具情态、并将他们有机和谐地组合在一起、形成高古典雅、气度恢宏的视觉效果。整幅作品起伏跌宕、疏密有度、颇为耐看、成功地再现了水浒人物的风采.出版个人画集三种，在报刊?杂志上发表作品及专著二百余篇.
