郑旭

郑旭，男，拉祜族，1959年10月出生于云南澜沧。1977年考入云南艺术学院美术系版画专业，1982年1月毕业分配回家乡澜沧县文化馆工作。1990年调到思茅地区群众艺术馆工作；1995年回到云南艺术学院美术系任教至今。中国美术家协会会员、中国版画家协会会员、云南美术家协会会员。1985年作为特邀代表出席“第四届全国美术家代表大会”。他主要从事版画中的绝版木刻。1984年在全国第六届美展上，绝版木刻作品《拉祜风情1—染》《拉祜风情2—赶街天》一举荣获美展金质奖，为僻远的云南美术实现了金牌零的突破，引起全国画坛的瞩目，记下云南画史石破天惊的一笔，开启了云南版画创作的全面繁荣。
之后，他获奖无数。绘画作品参加过第六、七、八、九届全国美术作品展览；版画作品参加过第八、九、十三、十四、十五届全国版画作品展。1989年在中央美术学院举办个人画展；1994年在云南艺术学院举办个人画展。版画作品还到过日本、韩国、澳大利亚、芬兰等国和北京、上海、台湾、香港、昆明等地参加过各种类型美术作品展览。版画作品曾在《美术》、《美苑》、《版画艺术》、《版画世界》、《新观察》、《新华文摘》等刊物发表，并为中国美术馆、中央美术学院、鲁迅博物馆、江苏美术馆、云南美术馆等单位收藏。
郑旭的主要获奖作品有：1984年，绝版木刻作品《拉祜风情1—染》、《拉祜风情2—赶街天》荣获全国六届美展金奖。1985年，纸版画《远古的舞》荣获全国第九届版画优秀创作奖；绝版木刻作品《拉祜风情1—染》等荣获版画世界奖。版画技法书《绝版木刻》荣获学院科技一等奖。1985年荣获中国版画奖；1999年荣获鲁迅版画奖。2006年荣获云南省文学艺术“四个一批”云南文学艺术贡献奖。1998年由云南美术出版社出版版画技法书《绝版木刻》；1999年由霍克（台湾）公司出版画册《版画巨匠系列——郑旭专集》。
2002年，一种可怕的家族遗传病使得郑旭不得不放弃刻刀，被迫停止了绘画。这位极富才华的艺术家现在已经不能再从事绝版木刻的创作了，但是他并没有停止对艺术的追求，继续在文学创作的道路上追寻着自己的理想。
郑旭曾经在接受某媒体记者采访时说过这样的一段话——
我可能是一个体会创作过程的人，我对艺术非常崇拜，我的一切行为都在为艺术的纯净而努力，但我还是觉得文学的形象与绘画的形象是一样的——实际上我始终没有停止过创作，在我的所有行为中不能说是文学代替了美术。文学和美术从不同的角度，用不同的形式去表达我的思想，这样的本质是一样的……在技术上美术应该更注意它的色调、文学应该更注意它的情节。
在一切创作中我都不会违反我的身体和我能拥有的条件，我还是觉得一切作品都应该轻松地得到，虽然看到东西我会不停的思考。我还是觉得思维不是痛苦的事情。我并没有觉得不能画画是一种折磨，到了不能画画的时候画出来的绘画作品也已经变成了非常勉强的作品了。我的一切都是为了绘画而生长的，包括我的手。我的疾病好象是跟我开了一个不大不小的玩笑，我现在是不能教学和画画，但是还能够写文章。
2005年，郑旭出版了美术理论专著《韵律二记》（云南美术出版社），并有十余篇美术学术论文在刊物发表。

Centrally academy of fine arts held individual art exhibition 1989; In Yunnan art the institute held individual art exhibition 1994. Woodcut work still has gone to country and the Beijing such as Japan, Korea, Australia, Finland, Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Kunming and other places has played all sorts of kinds art work exhibition. Woodcut work ever was in " art " , " beautiful garden " , " woodcut is artistic " , " woodcut world " , " new observation " , " new Hua Wenzhai " wait for a journal to publish, it is the unit such as art gallery of Chinese art gallery, museum of central academy of fine arts, Lu Xun, Jiangsu, Yunnan art gallery to collect.

2002, a kind of terrible familial hereditary disease makes Zheng Xu must abandon burin, was forced to stop to draw. This artist of extremely rich talent cannot have been engaged in the creation of woodcarving of out of print again now, but the pursuit that he did not suspend pair of art, continue to pursueing oneself ideal on the way that literature invents.
Zheng Xu once had said a paragraph of such word when accepting some media reporter to interview --
I may be a person that experiences creation process, I adore very much to art, all my behavior are in those who be art is pure and hard, but I or like feeling literary figure and painterly figure are -- actually I had not stopped to create from beginning to end, cannot saying in all my behavior is literature replaced art. The angle that literature and art never are the same as, go conveying my idea with different form, such essence is same... in the art on the technology should more the tonal, literature that notices it should more the clue that notices it.
In all creation I won't violate the requirement that my body and I can have, I still feel all work get easily, the reflection that although see a thing,I can keep. I still feel thinking is not thorny issue. I did not feel that I cannot paint a picture is a kind of torment, arrived to cannot draw the paint that when drawing, the picture comes out to also had become very loath work. Everything my is for what draw and grow, include my hand. My disease is like is to followed me to open not quite not little joke, I now is cannot education and picture, but still can write an article.
2005, zheng Xu published art theory monograph " metrical 2 write down " (Yunnan art publishing house) , paper of more than 10 art is published in the journal.
