王鹏飞，1943年生于福建涵江，福建师大美术系毕业，中国美协会员，世界书画家协会一级美术师，中国行业发展研究中心美术特高级研究员，世界教科文卫组织专家成员。其作品博采众长，师古而不泥，创新而不野，内涵蕴藉，气势恢宏。作品入选“世界华人书画展”，获中国美术金彩奖优秀奖、提名奖，入选中国美协“中国画三百家”；入选“中法文化年——中国风情·当代中国画作品展”，在法国巴黎国际艺术城展出并收藏；入选第二届、第三届中国美协会员中国画精品展；在国内外大展中获金奖9次，银奖2次，作品被世界教科文卫组织、美术馆等收藏并被选定为赠送联合国国际科学与和平周礼品。中央电视台、新华社《瞭望》海外专刊、《人民日报》、《人民画报》等对其艺术成就予以报道，个人简历载入《世界名人录》等60余部辞书。出版有《王鹏飞国画集》、《王鹏飞画集》、《中国百杰书画家王鹏飞作品选》等。世界教科文卫组织授予首批特殊贡献金色勋章。
