钟鸣

钟鸣(1964-)年生于湖北红安，1989毕业于湖北美术学院。中国美术家协会会员，湖北美术学院副教授，硕士研究生导师，湖北中国画院副院长。
湖北省书画研究会绘画委员会副主任，湖北省美术院特聘艺术家，湖北师范学院美术学院客座教授。先后毕业于湖北美术学院国画系和研究生部，获学士学位和硕士学位；结业于文化部第七届中国重彩画（岩彩）高研班和湖北省首届俄罗斯油画高研班。
长期潜心致力于现代水墨人物画和现代工笔人物画的探索、研究与创作。兼作山水和花鸟。作品继承中国民族艺术精神，融西法于中国绘画之中，创立了个性化的笔墨程式和审美图式，艺术风格独特。其作品以形写神，工写俱精。
出版有《江苏画刊提名－21世纪优秀艺术家·钟鸣》、《中国当代名家—钟鸣中国画艺术》、《中国当代实力派画家—钟鸣水墨画作品选》、《艺术典藏－深度追踪当代最具实力艺术家·钟鸣》、《钟鸣速写人物》等个人画集专著多种。作品发表于《美术》、《人民日报》等报刊；载入《中国工笔画1900－1997》（当代卷）等美术大典；作品广泛被国内外艺术机构及藏家收藏。
