吴烈勇

吴烈勇，1944年生于上海。任新疆艺术学院副教授，新疆美协水彩、粉画艺委会副主任，为中国美术家协会会员。
1963年支边入新在展一师开始从事美术创作。1979年任阿克苏地区群艺馆副馆长。1987年油画《炊》入选首届中国油画展。1994年油画《幕士塔格》入选第八届全国美展优秀作品展。1996年油画《慕士塔格》参加“现代中国美术展”赴日本巡展。1996年粉画《泉》入选第三届全国水彩、粉画展并获金奖，1999年粉画《山助》入选第九届全国美展，2003年被中国美协聘为中国首届粉画展评委，作品《风味》在“中国首届粉画展”展出，并被中国粉画艺术馆收藏。2004年粉画《守望》入选第十届全国美展，获优秀奖。
在新疆经历了四十年的风风雨雨，凝炼了深厚的西部情结。我的创作不慕时尚。执着的艺术追求使我的作品具有纯朴、率真的特质，我努力将新疆的人与自然，归于崇高、和谐、静穆的古典审美情趣之中。
