莫合德尔·亚森，维吾尔族，1988年毕业于新疆师范大学美术系油画专业并留校任教，1989年考入中央美术学院研究生课程班，1999年在北京语言文化大学出国部学习意大利语，2000-2001年由国家公派在意大利佛罗伦萨美术学院研究油画材料技法。
现为新疆师范大学美术学院副院长、副教授、硕士研究生导师，中国美术家协会会员，新疆美术家协会油画艺委会副主任。
多次游历欧洲国家考察，并举办展览及参加学术交流活动，先后在意大利佛罗伦萨、西班牙马德里举办个展。作品参加第八、第十届全国美展、中国青年油画展、第三届全国油画展精品展、延安文艺座谈会讲话60周年全国美展、新疆实力派画展等重大展览。有多幅作品发表。主持全国艺术科学规划课题"新疆当代画家资料库"。
