张立鼎，笔名张伯远，张家界慈利县高峰乡人，先后毕业于湖南怀化师院美术系、中国人民大学艺术学院美术学（岩彩方向）硕士研究生班。2000年评为湖南省中青年十大杰出美术家；2005年辞去公职；2007年考入国家画院当代著名画家卢禹舜工作室学习；2014年拜中央美术学院山水大家崔晓东教授、著名人物画家杨秀坤教授为师。现为中国美术家协会会员、定居北京。
